ABOUT

Hi, I’m Lesley Coleman — a creative leader who believes the best ideas don’t just sell products, they become part of the conversation.
I’ve always been drawn to the tension between what a brand is and what it could be. The gap between those two spaces? That’s where the fun lives. It’s where a simple membership program becomes a full-blown character study. Where a retail benefit turns into a studio-lot comedy. Where a campaign doesn’t just communicate value — it proves it in culture.
Currently at Deutsch, I help lead ambitious, multidisciplinary teams focused on building brands that punch above their weight in relevance and results. I’m especially energized by ideas that are deeply strategic but never feel like it — work that’s sharp, self-aware, and unafraid to be entertaining. Because if we’re asking for people’s attention, we should earn it.
Over the years, I’ve worked across iconic retailers and household-name brands, building campaigns that drive business impact while giving audiences something worth talking about. My sweet spot sits at the crossroads of performance and personality — ideas that move metrics and move people.
I care deeply about craft, but I care just as much about culture — the one inside the agency and the one outside in the real world. I believe creative teams do their best work when they feel brave, trusted, and a little bit dangerous. I try to build environments where that’s possible.
Awards are nice. Results are better. Cultural impact is best.
I’ve been lucky to work with brilliant partners, generous collaborators, and clients who believe in swinging big. If you’re into smart strategy, sharp writing, ambitious production, and the occasional perfectly-timed joke — we’ll probably get along.
Say hi. Let’s make something that shouldn’t exist — and then make it impossible to ignore.
